1.1

The 15-Day Journaling Challenge (the “Challenge”) and our free resources are provided by Icons Of Impact FZ-LLC, trading as Don’t Waste Your Life Away (“DWYLA”). Icons Of Impact FZ-LLC is a Free Zone Limited Liability Company registered with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority (RAKEZ) under registration number 0000004097282, holding RAKEZ E-Commerce Licence number 45038888.

“We”, “us” and “our” mean Icons Of Impact FZ-LLC trading as DWYLA. “You” means the person who buys the Challenge or signs up for a free resource.

1.3

A “consumer” is an individual who buys for purposes mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

2.1

These Terms apply to:

• the Challenge: a paid, self-paced online programme

• our free resources: such as our weekly planner, which you receive by signing up through our online forms

2.2

Sections 3 to 6 apply only to the paid Challenge. All other sections apply to both the Challenge and our free resources, unless a section says otherwise.

3.1

The Challenge is a self-paced online programme with an introductory day and 15 days of journaling methods. It is taught through video lessons, writing exercises and reflection questions, and delivered in an online member portal. The product page and your order confirmation describe exactly what is included.

3.2

The Challenge works on any modern device with an up-to-date web browser and an internet connection. No special software is needed.

4.1

We are the seller of the Challenge. Our checkout pages are hosted on Systeme.io, and payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

4.2

Prices are shown in US Dollars (USD). The price shown at checkout is the total amount you pay, with no additional charges from us. Your bank or card provider may charge its own currency conversion or foreign transaction fees.

4.3

The Challenge is a one-time payment. There is no subscription.

4.4

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

4.5

A contract is formed when your payment is confirmed. You will receive an order confirmation by email. The charge will appear on your bank or card statement under the name ICONSOFIMPACT or ICONSIMPCT.

4.6

Early access, discounts and price changes.

• Early access prices apply only to purchases made within the stated early access window.

• Discount codes apply only to the products and periods stated, cannot be combined unless stated, and have no cash value.

• We may change prices for future purchases at any time. Changes do not affect completed orders.

4.7

Pricing errors.

If a price is clearly wrong because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after payment.

5.1

The Challenge is delivered through our learning platform, currently Systeme.io. After payment, we email you instructions to create or access your account in the member portal. Check your spam folder. If the email doesn’t arrive, contact us at support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com.

5.2

The full Challenge is unlocked immediately after purchase, and you can work through it at your own pace.

5.3

Streaming only. All Challenge content is available online in the member portal only. Videos, materials and exercises cannot be downloaded.

5.4

Lifetime access means ongoing access for as long as we continue to operate the Challenge. It is not a guarantee for your natural lifetime. If we decide to permanently discontinue the Challenge, we will give at least 60 days’ notice by email and explain any alternative access. We will honour any remedy the law requires.

5.5

We may improve the Challenge or move it to a different platform, as long as you keep reasonably equivalent access and what you purchased is not materially reduced. We will tell you by email if you need to take any action to keep your access.

5.6

Temporary maintenance or faults may interrupt access. We will take reasonable steps to restore it. If access problems persist, email us at support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com.

6.1

Refunds and withdrawals are handled by us under our Refund Policy, available on our website. Approved refunds are paid back through Stripe to your original payment method.

6.2

Right to withdraw (EU, EEA, UK and similar). If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase without giving a reason. We honour this right in full, even if you have already started the Challenge. To withdraw, do one of the following:

• use the withdrawal form on our website

• email us at support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com

• use the model withdrawal form on our Refund Request page

We will confirm receipt and refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, to the payment method you used and at no cost to you.

6.3
Other buyers. If you are not covered by section 6.2, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase by emailing support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com. We review each request individually and decide at our discretion whether to give a full refund, a partial refund or no refund, as explained in our Refund Policy. This does not affect your rights if the Challenge is faulty or not as described, or any right the law of your country gives you.

6.4

Legal guarantee for digital content. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, the Challenge must be supplied as described, be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and available as promised. For UK consumers this follows the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For EU consumers it follows the law implementing the EU Digital Content Directive in your country. If the Challenge doesn’t meet these standards, you are entitled to remedies such as having it brought into conformity, a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in these Terms limits these rights.

6.5

Consumers elsewhere, including in the UAE, keep the rights that the law where they live gives them.

6.6

If you have a persistent technical problem or a material defect, email us at support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com. Contacting us first does not limit your legal rights.

6.7

If a refund is granted, your access to the Challenge ends.

7.1

Free resources are sent to the email address you give when you sign up through our online forms.

7.2

Free resources may be downloaded and printed for your own personal use.

7.3

Free resources are provided “as is”, free of charge, and we may change or stop offering them at any time.

8.1

You must be at least 18, and legally able to enter a contract, to buy the Challenge or sign up for a free resource.

8.2

Give accurate details and keep your login confidential. Challenge access is for one learner only and must not be shared.

8.3

If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, email us at support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com.

9.1

We own the rights in our original content, including the Challenge’s videos, text, exercises, reflection questions, our free resources and our branding. These are protected by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights and by international law. We don’t claim ownership of general ideas, established journaling techniques, public-domain material or your own journal entries.

9.2

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use the Challenge and our free resources for your own personal use. For the Challenge, this licence lasts while you have access.

9.3

You must not:

• share your account or login details

• copy, record, screenshot or distribute Challenge content

• share, resell or redistribute our free resources, or pass them off as your own

• resell or sublicense access to anything we provide

• remove copyright notices or branding

• use our content to run your own teaching, coaching or competing products

• upload our content to AI tools or datasets for reproduction, distribution or model training

9.4

Breaching this section may lead to immediate termination of access and legal action.

9.5

If you breach this section, you are responsible for the losses and reasonable costs it causes us, including legal costs.

10.1

Where the member area lets you share reflections, sharing is optional. Keep any contribution respectful and lawful. Please don’t share other people’s private information, or your own sensitive information.

10.2

We only publish a testimonial with your separate permission. Sharing feedback with us privately does not give that permission on its own. We also ask before publishing any detail that could identify you, including your first name or initials.

10.3

We will never use your community posts, journal entries, image or voice in our marketing without your separate permission. We may share general, anonymous themes drawn from many participants, as long as they cannot be traced back to you or your personal story.

10.4

You can withdraw your permission at any time by emailing support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com. We will stop using your testimonial or contribution in new materials. We can’t always remove content that has already been published or shared.

11.1

We may suspend or end access for material breach of these Terms, repeated or serious violations, infringement, abuse, fraud or a genuine security risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable chance to fix a fixable breach. If you think we have suspended your access by mistake, email us at support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com. Suspension does not remove any refund or other right the law gives you.

11.2

Please contact us before raising a chargeback or payment dispute, so we can resolve it quickly. If a dispute is raised, access may be restricted while it is reviewed. You remain free to use lawful dispute procedures.

11.3

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as platform or internet outages, failures of third-party providers, cyberattacks, natural disasters or government actions. If this happens, we will tell you and restore access as soon as reasonably possible.

12.1

The Challenge and our free resources are educational. They are not therapy, counselling, psychological treatment or medical advice, and they do not replace qualified care.

12.2

Reflective writing can bring up strong emotions. Go at your own pace, and pause or skip any exercise. If you are struggling, seek qualified support. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis service.

12.3

We don’t guarantee any particular personal, emotional, professional or health result. Any benefit depends on your own engagement and circumstances. Descriptions of the Challenge’s purpose are not promises, and testimonials describe individual experiences only.

12.4

If you have a mental health condition, are in treatment, or are going through a difficult period, please talk to a qualified professional before starting the Challenge. You decide which exercises are right for you, and you are responsible for your own wellbeing while taking part.

13.1

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything the law doesn’t allow us to exclude or limit. This includes your rights as a consumer.

13.2

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or of our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Our products are for personal use, so we are not responsible for business losses.

13.3

If you are a business purchaser, to the extent the law permits, we exclude indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Challenge.

14.1

Challenge and service emails. When you buy the Challenge, these are part of what you bought. They include:

• your order confirmation and access instructions

• reminders to start or continue the Challenge

• prompts linked to the lessons

• check-ins if you haven’t finished the Challenge

• important account, security or legal notices

You can ask us to stop non-essential reminders and check-ins at any time by emailing support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com. We will still send essential account, access and legal messages.

14.2

Newsletters for buyers. When you buy the Challenge, we also add you to:

• the Challenge newsletter: tips, updates and further content connected to the Challenge

• the DWYLA newsletter: journaling and intentional-living content, and news about our other products and offers

14.3

Newsletter for free resource signups. When you sign up for a free resource, we send you the resource and add you to the DWYLA newsletter, as stated on the signup form.

14.4

We tell you about the newsletters when we collect your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter email, or by emailing support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com.

Unsubscribing does not affect your access to the Challenge. Where the law requires your consent for marketing emails, we only send them with your consent.

Our Privacy Policy (dontwasteyourlifeaway.com/privacy-policy) explains how we use personal data, including through the services described in section 16.

16.1

We use third-party services to sell and deliver our products:

• Stripe for payments

• Systeme.io for checkout pages, the member portal, contact management and emails

• Tally for free resource signup forms

• n8n to connect these systems

• Cookiebot for cookie consent

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices. These don’t replace our responsibilities to you under these Terms.

16.2

Our content may link to books, websites or resources by others. These are for your convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

The version in force when you buy or sign up applies to you. We may update the Terms for future purchases and signups, and we will notify you of material changes that affect your ongoing access.

18.1

These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the UAE and the laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and nothing in these Terms removes them.

18.2

To make a complaint, email support@dontwasteyourlifeaway.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. This does not stop you from using a statutory remedy, a regulator or a payment dispute.

18.3

The courts of Ras Al Khaimah have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and we will bring proceedings against you only in those courts. Consumers elsewhere keep any right the law gives them to use their local courts.

19.1

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest continues.

19.2

If we don’t enforce a right immediately, we have not waived it.

19.3

You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a business reorganisation or sale, as long as your rights are not reduced.

19.4

These Terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about our products.

19.5

These Terms are written in English, and the English version prevails over any translation.

19.6

By completing your purchase or signing up, you agree to these Terms electronically, and electronic records of your purchase or signup may be used as evidence of your agreement.
